Having spent the last few years experimenting with various genres and working with and/or securing the support of a number of internationally recognized artists — including former Deep Dish member DJ Sharam, Incorrect Music boss Anthony Attalla, and tech house superstar Pirupa — Nicolas Oliver has recently relaunched his career, focusing exclusively on the sound of techno. His DJ sets are always high energy, often featuring the fast-paced productions of artists like Alex di Stefano, Phunk Investigation, Beltek, and A.K.O. From a production standpoint, Nicolas’ debut release will hit download stores late winter/early spring 2012: ‘The Decimate EP’ will be released on Subfractal’s Frakture Audio and will feature two original tracks — ‘Decimate’ and ‘Need To’ — as well as remixes by Electrorites and Frankyeffe, respectively.

Nicolas’ follow up release will be his remix of ‘C99′, an original production written by Dimitri Fusky which is set for release on Lance Blaise’s Teggno Records. Grown in the political, and clubbing, hot spot of Tel Aviv, Itamar Sagi has been entertaining dancefloors for the past 15 years and his dj career include a 7-year residency at the legendary “Haoman 17”, a club which was elected as one of the best worldwide.

It’s 2007 when, after a series of successful first releases on his home label Be As One, “Cancun / Dreams Theaters” and “Sparta / Weird BAO”, the latter co-written with fellow label mate Gel Abril, Itamar’s name got worldwide attention with “Blonda”, co-produced with his friend and contemporary Techno star Shlomi Aber. The success of these releases propelled Itamar into the global scene and expectations grown strong around his name.

Itamar quickly surpassed those expectations in 2008. First with “Black Gold”, a sublime combination of classic Detroit techno and Chicago house, tech funk and killer stabs, that was announced as one of the 10 best track of WMC08 by DJ Mag. Then, later that same year, Itamar cemented his reputation releasing two Techno monsters: “Later On” on Samuel L Session’s KlapKlap, and “One Million Oaks” on Soma, which was one of Itamar and Soma’s biggest hits and recently selected by the label to be remixed for its 20 Years Anniversary celebration project.

David Amo and Julio Navas are one of the most well known DJ/producer teams, within the Electronic Music genre. As owners and head managers of successful label Fresco Records, they have also pulled through big projects with artists such as John Acquaviva and D-Nox & Beckers, as well as remixes for David Guetta, Tocadisco, Robbie Rivera, Trentemoller,  Lissat & Voltaxx, Jesus Luz & Fragma, Tomcraft, Marco V and many, many more.

Amo + Navas’ uncountable sets have been throughout the world’s main clubs and festivals, including Creamfields, Rock in Rio (Madrid), Sunrise Festival (Poland), Moots Fest (Mexico), Fineplay (Japan) and Kaballah (Brasil). The duo have also been headhunted by the most important clubs on the white island: Amnesia Ibiza, Space Ibiza and Privilege, proving their skills, as always, to the most demanding audiences. During 2010 Ibiza season they performed on three exlusive dates in one of the emblematic parties on the island People from Ibiza.

In 2011 David Akermanis teamed up with Dj Endgame to form the duo: Speedboats and Big Explosions. Simon started since he was 8 with the well known Technics 1200 system and , even if not recognizing how this was a damage to his dad’s tools, when he was 12 he started mixing dance rhythms at the console of Paradise by Marinella in Sarzana helped by the local dj. He very soon arrives in Versilia and at the age of 15 he starts working at the disco Kupido – Midho’ in Forte dei Marmi.

Soon after he works at Alhambra disco in Sarzana, proclaimed by all teenagers of the area and interesting many professional djs in his activity. The roots and music preferences of Simon are in the 80s and 90s sounds and rhythms, in time they improve towards the House music, which is his favourite music genre. Simon Bontempi was born in Massa on 29th October 1984, he is the son of Checco Bontempi, one of the most famous DJ and producers in the world, who produced hits such as The Rhythm Of The Night by Corona, which in 1994 reached the hit parades of the whole world.

Every now and again one of those records comes around that defies being pigeon holed and given a label. Mason burst onto the dance scene with their groundbreaking tune Exceeder back in 2006. The record swiftly went from destroying dance floors to tearing it up the World’s charts and laying the foundations for more forward thinking music.

Its not about making records for a particular set of Djs or trendy scene but just good honest music! As a result Mason’s tunes are played by a huge array of decksman from Pete Tong and Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1) to Fat Boy Slim, Eric Prydz, A‐Trak and Carl Cox.

Mason’s latest anthem is the massive ‘Corrected’ which features the vocal talents of Hip Hop legend ‘DMC’ of seminal band Run DMC, joined by  the soulful and fresh hit artist Sam Sparro.

In 2008, along with Aren DeJong, M2J and David Akermanis, Endgame pioneered the Vital Radio experience, a premium radio program bringing together the best music and biggest guests from all across the globe.

In 2011 Endgame teamed up with fellow Dj David Akermanis to form the duo: Speedboats and Big Explosions. Their first single ‘Hazel Eyes’, laced with the vocals of Marcie, was picked up by System Recordings in New York.  With the first track under their belt, the duo has been keeping busy both in the studio and on the decks.

Their first appearance as the mustached crime fighting team (also known as ‘Juan Sanchez’ and ‘The Bullet’) was at the Purple Room in Waterloo. They proved that experience counts as they rocked the dancefloor. Since then, ‘Speedboats and Big Explosions’ have appeared all over Toronto, playing their brand of funky, tech house and are always “Fighting Crime in Funky Times.”

Disfunktion is a true dj-producer duo. They started spinning tunes together as best friends on different parties across the country. Slowly but surely they found a love for producing their own tracks as well.

After getting their first track signed to Olav Basoski’s Rootz Records in 2007 they were well on their way to start a massive catalog full of bangin’ house tunes. Their addiction to house music led to a diverse and evergrowing discography.

Their releases found their way to massive labels like PinkStar, Spinnin’ Records, Doorn Records and Sneakerz Muzik, and they’re here to keep the energy high inside the Vital Radio guestmix.

Akermanis entered the dance music scene in summer 2009 with his chart-topping remix of James Nelson’s Relax, which was in high rotation on XM Radio and Music Choice. In 2010, David made several appearances in the Beatport Progressive House Top 100, receiving support from heavyweights like Andy Moor, Matt Darey and Kenneth Thomas.

David also hosts the “David Akermanis Podcast”, a monthly podcast and radio show that showcases his own brand of melodic dance music. Frequently including exclusive material from other up-and-coming progressive artists, his sound has become a must listen for music lovers across the globe.

Building momentum coast to coast with his unique sound, Brad Miller is at the forefront of the new generation for DJs.

Prior to becoming a house producer, David Jones built an extensive experience as a producer through several tracks ranging in genres and Top charting in several countries.

Between 2007 and 2008 David Jones and his friend and business partner Neuroxyde each created their own label, Starlight and Neurotraxx respectively, in which they took responsibilities as both A&R and main producers.

Since then, David has been focusing on developing his Artist profile: his many releases strongly contributed to Starlight quickly being widely perceived as the rising star in house music.

In a Double-Guest-Feature show, we’ll kick it off with Speedboats and Big Explosions.

Juan Sanchez and The Bullet team up to form “Speedboats and Big Explosions”. These retro cops bring together the funk and the tech to create a sound that is as awesome as their glorious moustaches.

Their first single “Hazel Eyes” features the unmistakable vocals of Marcie and is signed to System Recordings in NYC. With the first track under their belt, the duo has been keeping busy in the studio and on the decks.

Inspired by the soulful vocals of Andrew Roachford, SBBE reworked Dr Rubberfunk’s “Trouble Woman” into an energy-charged house bomb, due out soon on Jalepeno Records.

Their delicious Martini of funk, tech and soul is shaken, not stirred, and is always setting the right mood for the party.

At an early age Steven fell in love with electronic music. After playing with tape decks and old mixers he bought the necessary equipment to practice his DJ skills, soon House music became his primary focus in life.

After playing in different clubs in the Netherlands Steven was asked to play for the Dutch Hed Kandi parties.

Steven is now a world-wide resident DJ for Hed Kandi and is playing in clubs around the world and also presenting the weekly Dutch Hed Kandi Radio show, but tonight, he’s rocking out on the Vital Radio Guestmix.

With over 130 remixes to his name, Morgan Page has earned a solid reputation for transferring insatiable pop energy to the dance floor in the form of banging, progressive house tracks.

The Pete York cover “Strange Condition,” a simple, spatial arrangement that highlights Page’s ability let his vocalists control the direction of a song, and not be driven towards emotional peaks and valleys by just synths and bass. Page uses a similarly subtle approach on “Tell Me Why,” featuring the velveteen vocals of Télépopmusik’s Angela McCluskey.

Elsewhere, Page enlists the talents of Matt Alber on “Agnus Dei” and Gabriel & Dresden alum Jan Burton on “Traces Remain” and the raucous “I’ve Had Friends.” On the moody “In The Dark,” Page himself takes a turn on the mic at the urging of another G&D contributor, Molly Bancroft, who was initially tapped to provide the vocals. For Page, it was simply the next logical progression in his maturation as a producer.

Oliver Schmitz is a Barcelona based producer with a one-of-a-kind sound. He’s the man behind popular club hits like “I Want Candy” with Robbie Rivera ,“Shake” with his brother Les Schmitz and has remixed “Positive” by Amo & Navas of Fresco Records.

Founder and resident DJ of the Wobble parties at Cielo in New York City, Arana relentlessly pursues the purest forms of house and techno for the dance floor, with a penchant for funk, indie/rock, polyrhythms and outerspace. Arana honed his musical ear composing on classical guitar and playing in rock bands starting at the age of 13. March was a busy month. I’ve been in the studio working on my Speedboats & Big Explosions duo with DJ Endgame. We wrapped up another three track EP in March that will be out, along with Hazel Eyes, on System Recordings NYC. The new EP features two brand new numbers: Trouble Woman and Strange Justice. The third track on the EP is my track Menagie, which I am thrilled to FINALLY be releasing.

We’re still at it too – back in the lab this weekend working on a collaboration with vocalist Nicole Simone (Late Miss July) as well as something very housey along the Hed Kandi vein. All in all, @SBBEMusic is turning out really great and I’ve been pouring the majority of my musical energy in to that project. I’m going to start sharing more of that stuff here on my site.

One final thing… My ‘Spark/Aura’ EP is finally out on Silk music this Tuesday, April 5th! Definitely one of the better progressive EPs I’ve released under my name – very happy with how this one turned out. If you like what you hear, grab a copy from Beatport!

As with any great era of music, there are always a handful of tracks that can be considered genre defining. For dance music -from the late 90′s to the new millennium – there were only a select few tracks that caught fire around the world. However, there was one track in particular that emerged from the underground and caught everyone off guard. At first, people knew Iio’s “Rapture” by the catchy “la, la, la” chorus as sung by a beautiful voice.

As the track emerged from the underground and blew up in the mainstream, “Rapture” became a true tour de force. Remixes from Creamer & K, Deep Dish and Armin van Buuren would follow and the track sold into the millions. Still, at the heart of what made “Rapture” so beautiful was that voice. From Holland’s thriving electronic music scene, yet another promising artist steps into the limelight. After being involved in a number of groundbreaking projects, dj/producer Edwin Oosterwal is taking things to the next level. With a critically acclaimed solo-début on his own Rejected imprint and gigs in some of Europe’s leading clubs, an international breakthrough is inevitable.

Edwin started dj-ing in the East of Holland, where he was studying to be an engineer and first met his friend and future musical patner in crime Joris Voorn. Mixing all types of music for tough crowds, Edwin soon mastered the craft of dance floor wizardry. Deejaying remained a passion in those days, only to become the main focus in later years. Edwin’s engineering endeavours brought him to all corners of the world, picking up different musical influences along the way. His years in Sydney broadened and deepened his take on electronic music. Living in NYC helped further develop Edwin’s historical perception.

David Akermanis is an up and coming producer/DJ, belonging to the new breed of talented producers making his hometown of Toronto a centre of excellence in house music.

Akermanis entered the dance music scene in summer 2009 with his chart-topping remix of James Nelson’s Relax, which was in high rotation on XM Radio and Music Choice. In 2010, David made several appearances in the Beatport Progressive House Top 100, receiving support from heavyweights like Andy Moor, Matt Darey and Kenneth Thomas.

Draconum is originally a “Detroiter”, but is currently located in Ann Arbor.  He’s been producing since 2002 and DJ’ing since 2006.

Although his primary DJing and producing focus is house, he hits on just about every vein of electronic music in his productions.

Jay Cunning’s been in the mix since day one. He caught the bug young and started spinning tunes back in ’89 in the halcyon days of Acid House.

Since then he’s tarted about and flirted with various styles of ‘Hardcore’, ‘House’, ‘D’n'B’ and ‘Garage’.
He started to consolidate this jockey sluttage in 1996 when he found himself teaming up with Royce & Paul Saint to form ‘Just Pure Rhythm’ for the seminal breakbeat production “The Situation”. Difficult though it was for a man with such a roving musical eye, Jay opted for a bit of monogamy and settled down with ‘Breakbeat’.

Being faithful soon paid off, and 1999 Jay took up a successful residency on the infamous pirate station Breaks FM 103.2. Jay’s recently teamed up with some the scene’s best producers including 2 Sinners, Smithmonger & Atomic Hooligan.

From that humble beginning, he has since played for thousands across the Midwest US. In 2006, Oddy turned his ears toward production, banging out several remixes for fellow producers.

Recently, he’s signed with Addictive Vibe Records and is looking forward to his first release with the label.

Deersky, also known as Pete Sarnecki, was born in 1981 in Radom, Poland. Deersky is actively involved and promoting various events and in 2008 with three friends decided to open a agency “Movement Sound”.

Inspired by the magic of what he experienced in clubs over the years and most recently at the famous Ibiza, he decided to start a monthly podcast called “Deep Diving”.

Dj Ups and Kukoo Wasps are brothers from the UK who produced and Dj-ed in London England during the boom of the initial rave scene in 1990.

When a house music legend like Roger Sanchez names his Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2009, it’s time to sit up and take notice – meet Abel Ramos.

Born in February 1973 and raised in Madrid, Abel started DJing at a local club, aged just 15, playing anything that was synth-driven from Human League to Nitzer Ebb or Acid House.

It didn’t take long for Abel to establish himself as one of Spain’s most talented DJs, catching the ears of thousands along the way and winning awards such as Best National DJ from Spain’s answer to Mixmag, ‘Deejay Magazine’, gaining top gigs for the likes of Sensation, Rock In Rio, Global Gathering, and frequenting places as far afield as Australia. Marking a new dawn in British progressive / progressive-trance, his precision-built, evocative electronic soundscapes have fast found the ears of many of the scene’s leading lights. Deon Butler is a success story in his “iEMPIRE,” taking a radio show from the nineties and bringing it to the 21st century. Kaeno / Kaenow (Deon Butler) began his musical journey at the age of 13, and began melding vinyl beats not long after. After graduating from high school, he attended Florida International University, where he first started his career as a radio DJ. His first show aired in 1999 called The Vanishing Point, encompassing the EDM genres popular at the time: Progressive, Trance, House and Tribal.

After finishing his residency at Zanzibar, Kaeno graced the decks at some of South Florida’s most legendary clubs and festival. The Vanishing Point went online with iTUNES three years ago, creating an enhanced Podcast for download. Recently, TVP reached 50,000 downloads, making Kaeno’s show one of the most listened to and downloaded EDM shows in the U.S.A and across the world.

He has been a leading figure in the electronic music scene for more than a decade, setting new standards in production, as so many music lovers have had the pleasure of witnessing.

His DJ sets are no less remarkable, surround sound experiences for countless clubbers. So why are we casting a glance back to the apparently unremarkable place where it all began? Because this is the starting point for Moguai the artist’s continuing journey across the globe. Welcome to the kinetic highway.

Moguai was inspired by the spherical, experimental sounds emanating from the Rhine metropolis and, at the same time, found his way as a DJ into the rave scene of the Ruhr and beyond. This was the era of vast warehouse gatherings with gigantic sound systems turned up to the max. The shockwaves were so severe, that traces of them can still be felt and heard today. At the epicentre: Moguai. His sound, however, does more than just shake and disturb…the Moguai sound is different.

DJ/producer and label owner Tom de Neef obviously likes his music to do the talking. Refusing to be pigeonholed by people’s perception of any one persona, he has relentlessly reinvented himself through a myriad of production monikers, including: Plastika, TDN, Behemoth, Villanord, Gattaca, and the Bazement Freakz (with Eddie Amador).

That’s the music that he produces at his studio in Antwerp, Belgium. His talent and passion for DJ’ing  can be heard while he’s spinning at Roger Sanchez’s Stealth parties, Hed Kandi events,…
He started with Hed Kandi in 2001 and played for them at the hottest clubs and festivals around the world. He also did a mix compilation for HK (world series 2006) and some cool mixes (brand new heavies, Stonebridge, Full Intention,…). However, despite such club-thumping achievements, some – including Roger Sanchez – still think that he is ‘underrated’.

With over 110 remixes to his name—including tracks by Madonna (“Miles Away”), Katy Perry (“I Kissed A Girl”), Tegan & Sara (“Back In Your Head”), and La Roux (“Bulletproof”)—Morgan Page has earned a solid reputation for transferring insatiable pop energy to the dance floor in the form of banging, progressive house tracks. High ranking spots on iTunes’ dance chart, Beatport’s progressive chart, and Billboard’s club charts affirmed his salability, while an ’09 Grammy nomination for Deadmau5’s remix of Page’s “The Longest Road” simultaneously bolstered his underground cred while spotlighting his skills as a songwriter.

The landscape dramatically shifted for Page when he released a now infamous collection of bootleg remixes in 2005 entitled Cease And Desist. Without the help of master tapes (or label permission) he extracted a cappellas and signature melodies from tracks by David Bowie, Coldplay, Imogen Heap, Esthero, and The Kills with surgical precision, then rounded out the sound with luminous instrumentation and blazing beats. His undulating progressive feel and strict attention to kit detail—never the same kick drum twice, ever—was a perfect compliment to the larger than life vocal hooks. Dance music blogs like Resident Advisor and Beatportal took note, and Page’s own server continually crashed under the weight of the mix’s download traffic.

Dj Ups and Kukoo Wasps are brothers from the UK who produced and Dj-ed in London England during the boom of the initial rave scene in 1990.

After a 13 year break, the guys returned with groundbreaking new albums from Obviously High and The Moog, and EPs from Kukoo Wasp, DJ Ups and Thundermental.

A refreshing mixture of nu-skool, progressive breaks, old-skool, deep house, and prog house. In June 2006, WXM Music relocated to Toronto, Canada and evolved into Liquid Stairs.

The “Cyberpunkers” project took off in 2006, and was a result of the passion for Cyberpunk culture. The format aims at giving a fresh start to the cyberpunk subculture through four different, yet connected, forms of art: Electronic Music, Fashion, Design and Photography. In a nutshell, they’re all about a transposition of the Cyberpunk world into a modern clubbing setting.

Through several performances at big name clubs, The Cyberpunkers started to get noticed.  The buzz grew, partly for their original look (the mask thing), and partly for the originality of their shows – which are Live PA’s with the boys using two consoles at once along with other various audio machines.

The Cyberpunkers have been featured in some of the largest electronic European festivals. Despite their heavy touring schedule, they still manage to pump out tune after tune.

Aren De Jong is easily the best “sleeper” musical artist in his hometown of Toronto. This Canadian house & progressive talent is among the top rising producer/DJ/engineer combos today.

Current and forthcoming releases on several international labels in just the past few months are keeping him busy both in and out of the studio.

Experience in the city’s better-known venues have led the path for him to know how the next best music should be delivered.

THE CUBE GUYS is a club project born in 2000 from the collaboration between two of the most important Italian producers: Roberto Intrallazzi and Luca Provera. They’re united by their common desire to release new productions and give their own contribution to the international dance and club scene. “I created the Bellatrax project in the summer of 2006 after being asked to do a credible UK house remix of “Whatever” by Ferry Corsten for Tsunami records. The track was supported by many key DJs around Europe including Judge Jules who supported the track on his BBC Radio 1 show.

I then decided to take Bellatrax to the next level and produce the first single “I Can’t Help Myself”. The single was co-written by Sophia May and grammy award winning songwriter Bruce Elliott-Smith. The track was soon snapped up by Portugal’s Pure Funk Records, was remixed, and found its way into the boxes of many international club DJ’s. This is when the extremely well respected Italian house imprint Oxyd Records took an interest in the Bellatrax project, and licensed “I Can’t Help Myself’ with a view to making it an international hit.”

Michele Menini and Gianluca Viani have been working together as DJs and producers since 1989.

Their Dance and House music productions soon reached success. In 2008 they start a new project together. The first act of their partnership was the release of the single Dark Beat with Christian Key on vocals and recorded for Loudbit, Stefano Noferini’s recording label.

Dark Beat aroused immediate interest and it has been played by international DJs to great effect,Their follow-up single La LaLand met with similarly positive reactions and along with Dark Beat was among the most played records at the Winter Music Conference held in Miami in March 2009.

His DJ style is a mix of progressive & uplifting trance, but he’s not too shy to throw in some tech, breaks and house flavor with even the occasional heavy metal samples. His goal is to get arms waving, feet moving and hips shaking! He quickly obtained remarkable success as a DJ. After only one year of official DJing, he was voted by his fans onto such renowned charts as The DJ  Mag’s Top 100 of 2004 & BPM Magazine’s America’s Favorite DJ list 2004, 2005 & 2006 (Trance/Commercial DJ) and in addition he gained a solid spot on The DJ List’s chart.

DJing has led Darude to radio, for which he now hosts a widely followed mixshow, “Salmiakki Sessions”. In addition, Darude has done several guest mixes for other top radio programs, including Above & Beyond’s Trance Around the World, Ministry of Sound UK and of course, Vital Radio!

John Dahlbäck was born in 1985 in a small village not too far away from Stockholm, the Swedish capital. Since everyone in his family was in some way involved with music, it was no surprise when John started making his own. By playing around with his fathers Atari computer, John learned the basics and after several changes in setup he finally found his sound.

His First demo went out at the age of 15 without any luck, but the second demo did pretty good. With a track out on Route 33 and his first 12″ out on Deep4life, John was heading for the big league. After “Music So Sweet” the releases kept coming, and Johns first label was born together with cousin Jesper. As Hugg & Pepp, the cousins have established a worldknown superduo.

So the releases got more and more and John started to become quite a well known producer. By starting the label Pickadoll for the Plantage 13 labelmanagement, John finally had his own imprint. And what an imprint. With artists like Özgur Can, Sebastien Leger, Dada Life, Zoo Brazil, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke etc showing up on the label, John Dahlbäcks little baby Pickadoll has grown enormous.

There’s nothing stopping this superstar, with more releases than any other on some of the biggest labels. Who knows what will happen in the future but one thing is for sure, John Dahlbäck will be there. John takes over the Vital decks this week for the Vital Radio Guest Mix!

Gareth Wyn is taking clubland by storm. Mixmag Future Hero, Cream Ibiza Resident, he’s part of the nu breed, and his unique style combined with the ability to read and interact with the crowd is fast earning him a reputation as one of the scene’s rising stars.

Gareth mastered his DJ skills at Cream in Liverpool, where he’s become a steadfast in the main room for the clubland institution, developing a huge following with the superclub’s faithful. He’s been recognised as Best Breakthrough DJ at the Mixmag Ibiza Dance Awards and 2010 sees him return to Ibiza with Cream bi-weekly resident at the mighty Amnesia.

Gareth’s production skills are also gaining serious recognition. As a DJ producer his appreciation transcends genre, signed to the legendary Maelstrom Records for his up tempo productions and the market leader Cr2 for his house output, he also releases more underground music on his own label Beat That.

A classically trained musician, Gareth writes, produces and engineers from his own studio and his demand as a remixer has exploded in the last 12 months. He’s worked on the last two Beyonce singles ‘Broken Hearted Girl’ and ‘Video Phone’ for Sony, as well as remixing Leona Lewis’ latest single for Simon Cowell’s Syco label. Add to that his huge remix of BT’s ‘Flaming June’, signed to Tiesto’s label Blackhole for a 2010 release, and remixes for The Gossip, Junkie XL and the house re-work for the huge DJ Mujava ‘Township Funk’.  Well, he’s here tonight, inside the Vital Radio Guestmix.

DJ Robert Gitelman began his career at the age of 14. After 3 years he began his residency in one of the biggest clubs in Israel, the “Computer”.  Ever since, Robert has hit just about every club in Israel.

There is a distinct possibility that the name Seamus Haji may already be familiar to you. One of the most creative and technically gifted house DJ’s of our time and to say that he has many more strings to his bow is a complete understatement.

Seamus began his DJing career at the tender age of 16 with a London soundsystem playing a mixture of early House, Soul and Hip Hop. With a barrel-full of drive, enthusiasm and determination he went on to secure his first residency at The Satellite and later took on regular guest spots atMOS, Garage City, Release The Pressure, Hard Times and Back To Basics.

Musically his strength is his diversity playing as comfortably alongside, for example, Kenny Dope as Murk. And his sets are now known for the wealth of his own productions and remixes as well as more than a smattering of trickery on the Pioneer CDJ1000’s (for which he is an official ambassador).

Shik Stylko are Sebastian Krieg and Roman Freihoff who have worked together as friends for more then ten years now. Beginning with bookings and regular gigs in the OM Dance Hall (Heilbronn/Germany), they later on spun with: Masters at Work, Dj Pierre, Ian Pooley and Erik Rug in the M1 Club located in Stuttgart.

During this time Sebastian already was djing as resident artist. Due to his enthusiastic work the club became one of the most respected house locations in the region and the two musicians to well asked for djs with gigs in e.g. Berlin clubs like the Sage, WMF or the E-Werk, the Tiefenrausch in Cologne or the Loft in Ludwighshafen, but also in numerous European festivals and recently in Miami.

Besides DJing, working in the studio caught their interest more over the time. Sebastians remixes for Dannii Minogue, Future Funk or J.C.A. as well as Romans versions for tracks of Darryl Pandy were just the starting point for their upcoming releases.

Steven fell in love at an early age: with music.

While fulfilling a weekly residency in the exclusive Rotterdam club Jackie’s Steven was asked to play for the Dutch Hed Kandi party’s. This launched his career and increased his number of bookings through-out Holland.

Nowadays Steven is a world-wide resident of the Infamous Hed Kandi label and is playing in big clubs around the world. It brought him already to places like Ibiza (El Divino), Vancouver (The Opus), Paris (Queen), London (Pacha), Dubai (Elegante), Toronto (Century Room), Barcelona(CDLC), and many other amazing places on earth…. Steven holds three residencies: Franchise @ Escape Amsterdam, Club Vie (Rotterdam), Club OneFour (The Hague) and plays at every Hed Kandi party in Holland.
